I'm Karyn, an ESL Teacher to adults and Translator-Interpreter to refugees and immigrants.
I teach English as a Second Language (ESL) to adults since 2008, having taken a Teachers of English Course (TEC) in the USA in 2011 and a Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) in Canada in 2015.
My Bachelor's Degree is in Translator and Interpreter (BR Portuguese and English) and my Postgraduate Diploma is in Teaching in Higher Education (Specialist Degree).
I became a teacher after taking a 4 years Vocational course in Theater Acting at the age of 21 and from that on I started to educate myself in this field.
I do a volunteer work with refugees and immigrants by assisting them with Brazilian documents and language interpretation.
