Hi!

My name is Juliana Costa. I would love to be your next Business English Teacher!

I prepare customized classes, student-oriented. I try to understand the goals, needs and preferences of the students in order to plan the classes in advance, so that it can be really interesting to the audience. I do not teach language grammar basics (but I can recall them, of course). The classes are for students who already have the basis of the language and want to amplify their knowledge and master their fluency. The list of 'class materials' depend on what the student believes makes it easier for him/she to learn. It goes from literature talks, news on the radio, tv, videos. Also varied songs, tv series (...) I would summarize that I will invite the student to learn in a way that can best keep their interest and engagement in the class.

The classes will be dynamic and routinely discuss the topics being written on all the major business outlets, such as 'the economist', 'financial times', harvard business review and other important news medias that can help better produce a broad understanding of the corporate world of today. We will work on these sources either on their written form but also on their videos streamed on YouTube, so that we can fully structure the understanding of the language natural fluency.

I have worked on a multinational company for the past decade. Now I am focused on helping you improve your Business English capabilities, whilst also developing your skills regarding finance and management in those languages.
