About the teacher:
Jadir Alister Barnard was born in Minas Gerais but moved to England when he was 7 years old. In the UK he studied social studies and worked for 11 years in social work area with young people in Liverpool. He was fortunate to work with people from many different backgrounds and experiences.
He moved back to Brazil in 2009 and has lived in Sabinopolis, MG, Belo Horizonte, Rio de Janeiro and now in Sete Lagoas,MG. He has been teaching English in schools and in private classes with many students from different backgrounds( students, engineers, doctors, teachers, accountants, federal police officers etc).
He has helped students prepare for interviews, PowerPoint presentations (preparing slides and speaking practice), participating in international conferences, vacation language, work tour language, English TOEFL exams (listening and speaking modules), creating professional emails and letters and many more areas specific to the student´s needs.
Jadir Alister Barnard enjoys music; watching sports, movies, true crime, documentaries; walking with Simba (German Shepherd dog), cycling and exploring YouTube! He also likes to travel when possible.

About the Classes:
• The focus of the classes is conversational English. I can also help students with emails, letters, Curriculum Vitae/Resume, preparing Powerpoint presentations and interview practice.
• The content and purpose of the classes will always be agreed with student to ensure they are relevant and useful.
• The student will need a level of Intermediate or higher in order to participate in the classes. Or if unknown the free first class should be able to test level.
