Dear colleagues,

My name is Hugo, I'm 31 years old, Brazilian. I graduated in Linguistics in 2014 and have been working with language translation and teaching since then.

I am a translator and teacher specialized in English and Portuguese with a double major degree in both languages. I am currently working on subtitling projects from English into Portuguese and Portuguese into English for Optiminational (EU), Mission Translate (UK) and Verbo Labs (Singapore).

Also, I'm comfortable with translations in the fields of media and entertainment, economy, finance, medicine, life sciences, education, marketing, tourism, software and technology, and more.

I am used to working with several CAT tools such as Subtitle Edit, MemoQ, OmegaT, Wordfast Pro, TM machines and I count on several glossaries of technical terms.

Plus, I have been translating subtitles from English to Portuguese using Subtitle Edit Software on a daily basis for my YouTube Channel.
