Better known as Bob, I have been an ESL/EFL teacher for over 20 years and also
a university professor, having taught Phonology, Oral Expression, and Integrated Skills at the Federal University of Minas Gerais, Brazil. I hold a degree in Letras, a specialization in TEFL, and a master’s degree in Applied Linguistics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where I was granted the 2004/2005 Katharine O. Aston Award for Outstanding Master's Thesis.
